Reinforcing commitment to Atmanirbhar Bharat with
innovative rail solutions at IREE 2025
Schaeffler
India, a leading motion technology company, will showcase its latest portfolio
of advanced bearing solutions and industrial innovations for the railway sector
at the 15th International Railway Equipment Exhibition (IREE) 2025. The
exhibition will be held from October 15–17, 2025 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
Visitors can experience Schaeffler’s solutions at Hall – 3, Booth – 3.30.
Through
its participation, Schaeffler India as a trusted technology partner, aims to
strengthen its presence in the Indian railway market, highlighting its
localization efforts in alignment with the Government of India’s “Atmanirbhar
Bharat” vision, and engage with key stakeholders to support the nation’s
expanding rail infrastructure.
The
booth will feature Schaeffler’s wide range of cutting-edge railway and
industrial solutions, including:
• TAROL Bearings:
Compact, ready-to-mount tapered roller bearing units for railway axle boxes,
ensuring durability and reduced maintenance.
• CRU Bearings:
Cylindrical Roller Bearing Unit for Locomotive Axle offering high reliability
and simplified installation.
• Current Insulated Bearings:
Bearings with special coatings to prevent electrical damage, widely used in
motors and generators.
• Housings: Robust bearing housings to
support the bearings adequately and offering longer service life.
• Lubrication Greases:
Specialized greases that reduce friction, protect against wear and extend
service intervals.
• Class C/D/K Seals:
Advanced sealing solutions for effective contamination protection.
• Condition Monitoring Display Kit:
Advanced condition monitoring solutions for
bearings, aiding predictive maintenance.
The
booth will also see the presence of senior global and Indian leadership,
including Dr. Michael Holzapfel – Global Sector Lead Rail Bearings &
Industrial Solutions, Schaeffler and Mr. Seshan Iyer – President, Bearings
& Industrial Solutions, Schaeffler India.
