INOXAP commissions a 280 TPD ASU at Tata Steel’s Ludhiana Facility
A fully automated, high-purity plant designed for uninterrupted on-site supply of Oxygen, Nitrogen and Argon to the greenfield EAF-based facility.
The commissioning of
this ASU intends to strengthen INOXAP’s operational presence and liquid gas
distribution footprint across northern India for Oxygen, Nitrogen and Argon. By
leveraging the plant’s capacity, INOXAP will be able to serve its industrial
customers across the northern states through tanker supplies, reducing supply
lead times and reinforcing localised gas supply chains for the region’s
manufacturing ecosystem.
Speaking on this
milestone, Siddharth Jain, Managing Director – INOX Air Products, said,
“The commissioning of this 280 TPD cryogenic ASU is a proud milestone for
INOXAP, both in terms of our engineering capabilities and our commitment to
enabling some of India’s most ambitious industrial projects. By ensuring an
uninterrupted, high-purity gas supply for this landmark EAF facility, we aim to
directly contribute to a model of steel manufacturing that is cleaner, smarter
and more sustainable. Simultaneously, this ASU intends to open up a strategic
gateway for liquid gas distribution across northern India, enabling INOXAP to
serve a wider industrial customer base across the region. We remain deeply
committed to building the gas supply infrastructure that powers India’s
manufacturing future.”
With this deployment, INOXAP further strengthens its
position as one of the preferred industrial gas partners for India’s
transformative manufacturing projects, including the Steel Industry, reinforcing
its track record of building large-scale, technology-driven gas supply
infrastructure that drives value across industries and geographies.
