Kooheji
Contractors and PASCHAL work together to set new standards in modern
architecture in the construction of the Onyx Bahrain Bay.
Impressive building
progress: to make optimum use of resources, all of the material was able to be
used for both towers of the Onyx Bahrain Bay.
The 700 stylish apartments
in the prominent twin towers of Onyx Bahrain Bay offer the ultimate in
resort-style luxury with a 50-meter infinity pool, indoor gardens and
spectacular views of the city and ocean.
Kooheji Contractors, one of
the country's most well-known construction companies, was chosen as the main
contractor for the design and construction of this prestigious project.
Efficient execution was
crucial in the construction process of Onyx Bahrain Bay. For that reason,
construction work was performed simultaneously in the first section up to the
fourth parking level to make optimum use of time and resources. Once the
structure for Tower A was successfully completed, construction of Tower B began
seamlessly using the same material.
For the production of the
concrete components, Kooheji Contractors relied on the exceptional formwork
systems from PASCHAL. Approx. 400 m² of Modular/GE universal formwork and 2,200
m² of PASCHAL Deck slab formwork went into the construction of Onyx Bahrain Bay
to ensure superlative quality and precision.
The
all-rounder for any construction site
With the Modular and NeoR
formwork systems, PASCHAL has two universal formwork systems in its portfolio
which offer impressively easy handling and suitability for a wide range of
applications. This way, they provide construction companies with a high degree
of flexibility and architectural freedom.
Speed, precision,
cost-effectiveness: no matter what the requirement, formwork systems from
PASCHAL are the right choice for a successful construction project.
Working
together to achieve architectural brilliance
Onyx Bahrain Bay is an
outstanding example of the successful collaboration between Kooheji Contractors
and PASCHAL. The combination of innovative formwork technology and first-class
construction management has contributed to the creation of another masterpiece
of modern architecture.
Thanks to their light
weight, the panels of PASCHAL universal formwork (here: NeoR Lightweight
formwork) can be easily assembled and moved on the construction site by hand.
