launched India’s largest Low-Emission Integrated Operating Facility in
Bijwasan, Delhi. This facility, equipped with solar power installations,
connects multiple air and ground services between North India and the rest of
the country, marking a significant milestone in the company’s journey toward
operational excellence and environmental stewardship.
Strategically situated
along the prominent Dwarka Expressway in Bijwasan, Delhi, the facility enjoys a
prime location and is set to be just 20 minutes from Indira Gandhi
International Airport. This positions it as a critical logistics hub, enhancing
connectivity across the Northern region and beyond. With direct access to the

Bijwasan facility seamlessly integrates with the upcoming Gati Shakti Logistics
Corridor.
By fortifying freight
movement and providing robust multimodal connectivity, this state-of-the-art,
2.5 lakh sq. ft. facility aligns with the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan
and exemplifies Blue Dart’s focus on advancing India's express logistics
infrastructure.

Manuel, Managing Director, Blue Dart, added, “The Bijwasan
facility is more than an infrastructure investment—it reflects Blue Dart’s
commitment to sustainability, scalability, and service excellence. As India’s
largest low-emission integrated logistics hub, it enhances our distribution
capabilities, reinforcing our promise of efficient, more sustainable cargo
movement. By strategically expanding our network with state-of-the-art facilities
and adopting advanced technologies, we continue to drive flexibility, accuracy,
and speed across our operations. These investments position Blue Dart to seize
emerging opportunities and deliver exceptional value to our customers and
stakeholders.”
The facility is fully
equipped for palletized cargo handling, with the capacity to handle over 5.5
lakh shipments per day (inbound and outbound), optimizing cargo throughput for
high-volume shipments. State-of-the-art automated systems ensure precise and rapid
sorting, reducing manual handling and improving resource utilization to meet
evolving business demands. Solar power installations with a 600-kW capacity are
pivotal in minimizing carbon emissions and supporting more sustainable energy
practices.
With over 250 ground
network routes and eight dedicated freighters, Blue Dart continues to expand
its infrastructure to address India’s growing logistics needs. The Bijwasan
facility strengthens Blue Dart’s position as a leading trade facilitator,
supporting over 19,000 pin codes and more than 56,000 locations nationwide.
Blue Dart’s sustainability
initiatives extend beyond operational enhancements. The company also offers
decarbonisation options to its customers to reduce their carbon footprint via
its GoGreen Plus service. Additionally, Blue Dart incentivizes subcontractors
to adopt more sustainable transport solutions by providing education,
standards, and financial support. The launch of the Bijwasan facility reaffirms
Blue Dart’s leadership in more sustainable logistics, exemplifying its focus on
innovation, environmental responsibility, and reliable express logistics
services across India.
