VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. (A Volvo Group and Eicher Motors joint venture) recorded sales of 6663 units in September 2018 as compared to 6083 units in September 2017, recording a growth of 9.5%. This includes 6588 units of Eicher brand and 75 units of Volvo brand.
Following are the key highlights for September 2018:
• Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 6588units in September 2018 (YTD 34581 units) as compared to 5934 units in September 2017 (LYTD 26276 units), representing a growth of 11%.
• In the domestic CV market, Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 5685 units in September 2018 (YTD 29840 units) as compared to 5084 units in September 2017 (LYTD 22533 units) representing a growth of 11.8%.
• On the Exports front, Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 903 units in September 2018 (YTD 4741 units) as compared to 850 units in September 2017 (LYTD 3743 units), representing a growth of 6.2%.
• Volvo Trucks has recorded sales of 75 units in September 2018 (YTD 442 units) as compared to 149 units in September 2017 (LYTD 324 units).
