The Uttar Pradesh
government has approved master plans for Noida and Yamuna Expressway Industrial
Development Authority (YEIDA), driving growth till 2041. Noida’s plan expands
the Dadri-Noida-Ghaziabad region in four phases, while YEIDA will now cover 769
sq km. The region's population is expected to hit 37 lakh by 2041. Key
highlights include expanding the Noida Airport area to 6,286.7 hectares and
allocating 40% of the land for industrial use. With ₹1,000 crore set for land
acquisition, the new city aims to house 6 lakh residents, along with
aviation-related industrial hubs.
