Congratulations
to all the workers and engineers who dedicated their efforts to this success.
We also express our heartfelt gratitude to the National Highways Authority of
India (NHAI), the Kerala Public Works Department, and the Ministry of Road
Transport and Highways, Government of India, for their continuous support in achieving
this historic feat.
ULCCS
undertook the construction of the northernmost stretch of the highway — from
Thalappady to Chengala. With excellence in speed, quality, and execution at
every stage, the Society’s work on this first major NHAI project earned the
Union Government’s “Highway Excellence Award”, a matter of immense pride for
all of us.
Throughout
the project, we ensured minimal inconvenience to local residents and travelers,
responding with empathy and practical solutions to the concerns raised by the
people.
Key Highlights of the Project:
Project value: ₹1,800 crore
