Yashika Energy Systems,
Next2Sun Germany, and Wattkraft India have joined forces to bring vertical
bifacial solar technology to India, signing an MoU during RE-INVEST 2024 in
Gujarat. This cutting-edge technology enables dual land use, allowing
agricultural activities alongside renewable energy generation, solving land
usage challenges. Pilot projects, ranging from 100 kWp to 500 kWp, will be
launched nationwide, boosting agricultural productivity and clean energy
output. With support from Indian and German governments, this initiative aligns
with India’s "Panchamrit" goal of reducing emissions and expanding
sustainable energy production by 2030.
