The Fast Track
Immigration-Trusted Traveller Programme (FTI-TTP) is set to launch at seven key
Indian airports, including Mumbai and Chennai, following its debut at Delhi's
IGI Airport. This initiative is tailored for pre-approved Indian nationals and
OCI cardholders, allowing quicker immigration via automated e-gates. With over
18,400 registrations at IGI, the programme aims to streamline travel and
minimize wait times. Initially offered for free, it will later extend to
foreign travellers. This expansion reflects the Modi government’s commitment to
modernizing airport immigration systems, enhancing convenience for frequent
flyers.
