Prime Minister Narendra
Modi inaugurated 23 key projects worth ₹6,611.18 crore on October 20, including
major expansions at seven airports. The projects included new terminals at
Rewa, Ambikapur, and Sarsawa airports, and foundations for expansions at Varanasi's
Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport, Bagdogra, Darbhanga, and Agra
airports. In Varanasi, Modi unveiled 14 projects worth ₹380.13 crore, including
the redevelopment of Sigra Sports Complex and tourism development in Sarnath.
Additionally, a new academic block at Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya and the
private RJ Shankara Eye Hospital were launched during his visit.
