The world's largest solar farm is located in India. Bhadla Solar Park has gradually expanded to cover a massive 5,700-hectare desert site with solar panels. In 2008, the Climate Investment Fund was established by the G8 countries. It's a point raised by India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the COP26 summit in Glasgow, Scotland, in 2021. India's prime minister has stated that the country will achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2070.
