Making its direct debut at the exhibition, BKT presents specialised tyre solutions for quarrying, mining and construction applications

Nieder-Ofleiden, Germany, September 2, 2026: Balkrishna Industries Ltd. (BKT) is making its first direct appearance at Steinexpo 2026, showcasing a selection of its EARTHMAX Off-the-Road tyre range in Area D24, near the exhibition’s main entrance.

Being held from September 2 to 5, Steinexpo brings together equipment manufacturers, operators, dealers and industry professionals serving the quarrying, construction materials and heavy-duty equipment sectors. BKT’s participation marks another step in strengthening its presence across the quarry, mining and construction industries.

Tyres Engineered for Demanding Applications

Spread across more than 250 sq. metres, the BKT exhibition area features OTR tyres engineered to operate under heavy loads, severe terrain conditions and intensive working cycles. The displayed solutions focus on durability, traction, stability and operational continuity—factors that directly influence machine productivity and site efficiency.

Among the key products is the EARTHMAX SR 51 SP, an All-Steel radial tyre developed for medium-sized wheel loaders operating in demanding quarry and mining environments. Its robust construction is designed to withstand the mechanical stresses associated with loading, dozing and load-and-carry operations.

BKT is also displaying the EARTHMAX SR 30 M, another All-Steel radial tyre for medium-sized wheel loaders. This tyre is intended primarily for industrial sites and production facilities where machines operate mainly on smooth and paved surfaces.

Commenting on BKT’s participation, Lucia Salmaso, Managing Director of BKT Europe, said, “Steinexpo is a strategic event for BKT because we can meet an extremely technical and specialised audience that is well-versed in the operational challenges of the quarrying, mining and construction sectors.”

“For this first direct participation, we have chosen to showcase some of the most representative solutions from the EARTHMAX range—tyres designed to support operators in environments where reliability, durability and efficiency directly impact daily performance,” she added.

Solutions for Haulage and High-Intensity Operations

The company is presenting the EARTHMAX SR 45 M in the new 21.00 R 33 size. Designed for rigid haul trucks, the All-Steel radial tyre is suitable for long-distance transport operations, particularly in open-pit mines.

For loaders, articulated dump trucks and dozers, BKT is showcasing the EARTHMAX SR 41, developed to offer durability and dependable performance in high-intensity operating environments.

Completing the display is the EARTHMAX SR 45 H2, a tyre designed for rigid haul trucks requiring high levels of traction, stability and operational control under demanding conditions.

BKT’s presence extends beyond Area D24. Other EARTHMAX tyres are being displayed in three outdoor areas, mounted on full-scale models of mining and transport vehicles. The company is also distributing more than 12,000 OTR-themed giveaways aboard shuttles transporting visitors to the quarry.

Salmaso noted that Steinexpo also provides an opportunity to observe market developments, engage with customers and partners, and collect technical feedback from equipment users. Such direct interaction helps BKT understand changing operational requirements and develop products aligned with real-world conditions.

Through its Steinexpo debut, BKT is reinforcing its focus on demanding Off-Highway applications, where tyre performance has a significant impact on productivity, safety, equipment availability and total cost of ownership.
