VE Commercial Vehicles sells 4569 units in June 2019
VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. (A Volvo Group and Eicher Motors joint venture) recorded sales 4569 units in June 2019 (YTD 13331 units) as compared to 6390 units in June 2018 (LYTD 16327), recording decline of 28.5%(YTD decline 18.3%). This includes 4502 units of Eicher brand and 67 units of Volvo brand.
Following are the key highlights for June 2019:
• Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 4502 units in June 2019 (YTD 13134 units), as compared to 6315 units in June 2018 (LYTD 16129 units), representing a decline of 28.7% (YTD decline of 18.6%).
• In the domestic CV market, Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 4136 units in June 2019 (YTD 12245 units) as compared to 5496 units in June 2018 (LYTD 14154 units), representing a decline of 24.7 % (YTD decline of 13.5%)
• On the Exports front, Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 366 units in June 2019 (YTD 889 units) as compared to 819 units in June 2018 (LYTD 1975 units), representing a decline of 55.3% (YTD decline of 55%).
• Volvo Trucks has recorded sales of 67 units in June 2019 (YTD 197 units) as compared to 75 units in June 2018 (LYTD 198 units), representing a decline of 10.7% (YTD decline of 0.5%).
