The mining sector has been growing exponentially in the past few years. The privatization of coal and the increase in energy consumption has increased the demand in the industry for heavy earthmoving machines. Owing to the increasing demand, we have been working arduously to ensure highly efficient and durable tires that would satisfy our customers' needs. International Mining & Machinery Exhibition, having been established as one of India's largest mining exhibitions, is a powerful platform for us to showcase our newest technology within the mining sector.

In the exhibition, which tire of the categories will launch? Is it reliable high-performance tires? Brief us about the latest tires.

Our R&D teams have been working hard to design new technology tires that would satisfy the needs of the market and the demands of our customers. This IMME, we will be showcasing some of our newest technology within the OTR tires. Our latest designs of mining tires are curated with careful consideration of the increasing demands within the mining industry and are built to withstand heavy loads while also providing a longer service life than other tires on the market. It provides significant protection against shock and downtime incidents. We have also worked on increasing the durability of our tires. We are elated to be showcasing some of our new and innovative technologies within the mining segment at this IMME.

Which updated technologies and researchers were used for the new range of tires? How will it be beneficial for the end consumers?

The buyer and consumer landscape of the mining sector has been inclining towards the all-steel radial tires. Given the increased demand within the mining sector, there is a need for enhanced and highly durable tires with a longer wear life. Because of this, we have been focusing on providing a technologically driven solution to the all-steel radial tires. We have designed our all-steel radial tires with a special tread technology that ensures a longer tire life by decreasing the heat generation within the tires. We have been developing and enhancing the technology of our all-steel radial tires and conducting vigorous tests to examine their durability and performance. We believe that our technology-driven products that are being showcased at the IMME will pioneer the growth within this sector.

New range of tires made with sustainability resources? If yes, then why does sustainability matters to you?

We, at BKT, have always made mindful efforts to stay at the forefront of sustainability. We have ensured that sustainability forms the core of our tire manufacturing process. As a global player in the OTR industry, we have always tried to embody and represent sustainability in our process and protect the environment. We have ensured all of our products are REACH compliant. We believe in using doing our best to preserve the Earth and have launched various initiatives over the years to do our part.

What are you looking for in this International Mining & Machinery Exhibition 2022? How this IMME 2022 exhibition help you to grow your business?

This IMME marks the third event after the pandemic. Due to the Covid restrictions, there was a two-year gap where we couldn't interact with our customers in-person at such exhibitions. The International Mining & Machinery Exhibition is also India's Largest and Focused Trade Fair for the Mining Sector. This four-day event is a powerful rostrum for us to showcase our newest technology and we are elated to be a part of it. Participating in IMME is of utmost importance to us because it helps us showcase our newest technology, connect with our buyers and enhance our future product development. It is an incredible opportunity for us to understand the needs of our customers and hear their concerns. This helps us to stay focused on curating products that satisfy the needs and demands of our customers.
