What motivated your company to participate in this 4th Bangladesh Buildcon International Expo?
Kaushik Engineering Works is already a known brand in Bangladesh. We have more than 50 Asphalt Drum Mix Plants working in Bangladesh. Bangladesh Buildcon International Expo provides us an opportunity to reconnect with our existing clients and get feedback on our products. It also gives an access to understand changing requirements of the market.
What product/services did your company display at the Expo?
We had showcased Kaushik CESAN Asphalt Batch Mix Plants range along with our regular Kaushik Drum Mix Plants, Wet Mix Plants, Bitumen Pressure Distributor and Hydraulic Road Sweeper. We were also showcasing our recently introduced Concrete Batching Plants during the Expo.
How was the response? Did you have spot sales/booking during the Expo?
4th Bangladesh Buildcon International Expo was the biggest success compared to all their previous editions. Clients from all over the Bangladesh had visited us. Even the participation level was the highest so it helped prospective buyers also to know all the key manufacturers / suppliers.
Do you have your presence in Bangladesh? Or was this your first experience?
We have been visiting Bangladesh since 2002. This was our second show with Bangladesh Buildcon Expo. We have more than 50 working machines in Bangladesh.
Though being price conscious market, buyers in Bangladesh are also looking for quality products with service availability. We clearly fit in that requirement.
Would you include Bangladesh in your marketing strategy now?
Recent regulatory requirements have made usage of Asphalt Batch Mix Plants compulsory in Bangladesh. This has become a game changer event for us being one of the prominent company making Asphalt Batch Mix Plants with European technology in joint venture with CESAN. Bangladesh always has been very important market and will remain so in future also
