What motivated your company to participate in this Uganda Buildcon International Expo?

We have been in this industry for the last 26 years and have slowly grown by meeting the challenges and fulfilling the desires of our clients. We have achieved good growth and a well-known brand image in Gujarat and even in some other major cities of India. We want to increase our presence in African cities and, therefore, we have participated in this exhibition so that good market reach can be ensured by us. We participated in this exhibition to increase our market research knowledge and skills so that we can utilise it in the future. We didn't receive a very good response, but we are still really happy that we have gained knowledge of foreign markets and strategies.

What product/services did your company display at the Expo?

Some of our product categories' machinery parts, such as grader parts, ZF parts, wheel loader parts, and transmission parts, were on display at the exhibition. Our well-skilled employees have helped us to effectively accomplish our goals and targets that we set during the exhibition. Our effective products and services help us stand out from the crowd. The majority of mining spare parts were displayed at the exhibition, and there were some products that have achieved a good response from the people.

How was the response? Did you have spot sales/booking during the Expo?

The response was moderate. The people and the entire staff team of the exhibition were so supportive and directive. We didn't get any sales, but we are happy that we got a chance to enhance our knowledge of the foreign market and its marketing strategies and tactics. We are still hoping for the sale.

Do you have your presence in Uganda? Or was this your first experience?

Currently, we do have little presence and good contacts in Uganda, and this was our first time attending the expo. It gave us an effective chance to build both the online and offline presence of Pashupati in Uganda. Furthermore; this exhibition would be beneficial for us in the future when we think of expanding our products and services throughout the world.

What have you learned during the exhibition, write your favourite experience or moment of the event?

We have learnt the importance of teamwork and coordination and also learnt that an organisation can only become successful when each and every person within the company works in sync. Furthermore, Expo needs to work on some aspects, such as marketing and advertising. Except for this, everything was so informative and opportunistic at the expo.

Would you include Uganda in your marketing strategy now?

Right now, we don't have any plans to expand our business functions and operations in Uganda or other African countries. Without a doubt, Uganda is the best location to expand the business of the industry where we are from. But we will definitely think about it in the future as it will be beneficial for us as well.
