bauma CONEXPO INDIA has been a mega event that every small and big player in the infrastructure industry look forward to. What have you in store for them in this time in India?

The scale and offerings at bauma CONEXPO INDIA makes it a unique trade platform. Over the past four editions, we have been able to deliver value to our exhibitors and visitors through our initiatives and as our capacity of being a global series of trade fairs. 
We are introducing 'Buyer-Seller Forum' during bauma CONEXPO INDIA where we provide a meeting platform which will allow our exhibitors and visitors to interact with each other and fix up their meetings in advance on the basis of their interest. This would mean even higher return on investments (ROI) for our exhibitors and higher return on time invested (ROTI) for our visitors. 

Apart from this new initiative, there would be the Demo Area, a series of networking conferences, workshops and seminars to satisfy the knowledge hunger of the attendees and would emphasise on continued professional development (CPD) for industry professionals. 

How big is the exhibition layout? Will the size of the event be bigger than the past edition? 

As the largest trade fair catering to the construction and infrastructure industry in India, bauma CONEXPO INDIA already witness huge participation from the industry. We receive participation from the majority of market players. This year we are expecting more participation from our fast growing product segments. Expected to spread over more than 150,000 sqm, bauma CONEXPO INDIA will showcase the best of technologies and represent about 750+  exhibitors over 4 days, from December 11–14, 2018, making it the biggest edition of the trade fair ever. 

What will be your promotional endeavour? What will be the approach like? Will you stimulate the digital media especially the social media?

As a customer centric company, we focus on the needs of our customers. Our supporting programs and our initiatives are designed to ensure that our visitors achieve maximum satisfaction at the fair. We would be promoting the show via numerous online and offline channels. It is imperative to invest in digital marketing measures to promote the trade fair effectively. We have social media as part of our marketing mix in addition to various other mediums. At the core of it, we leverage on the market trends and create meaningful networking platforms in partnerships with leading industry bodies which prove to be attractive for our attendees.  

What kind of supporting programs like seminars, conferences and courses you are planning? How do you think they add value at the trade fair? 

At bauma CONEXPO INDIA, we stand for quality. Since its inception, we emphasised on covering key industry trends via conferences and held networking programs. In the past edition, we organized several programs with an objective to create a comprehensive experience for our attendees. 

In 2016, we organized networking meetings for International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) and Builders Association of India (BAI). Networking conferences on the topics: 'Infra Redux New and Sustainable Horizons' in partnership with iCEMA and 'Maximizing CE Sector Opportunities' jointly with Construction Opportunities were some of the key highlights. In order to acknowledge the best in the industry, we also organized 'Construction and Infrastructure Sector Awards' in the past edition. 

This year, we will continue our engagement with leading industry bodies and partners to create the best knowledge-share platforms for our attendees. Live-demonstration area at bauma CONEXPO INDIA is another valuable highlight where live machineries will be on display. This would continue to remain a major attraction for visitors.  

Attendees can look forward to many new attractive supporting programs this year which will cover important aspects of construction and infrastructure sector – key trends, insights and technical expertise.  

Do you plan to audit the Exhibition and make available the data of the visitors?

As an international trade fair organizer, we will continue to audit our visitor numbers and undertake all related measures to ensure the quality of our trade fair. The database of our visitors is not accessible due to data privacy policy and security reasons. However, our Buyer-Seller Forum gives you free-access to our registered exhibitors. The platform enables you to fix your meetings with participating exhibitors at the trade fair. Overall, there's a lot to look forward to at the upcoming edition of bauma CONEXPO INDIA this year.
