Mr. Mukesh Jain

Director, Rollcon Technofab

Looking back at the recent exhibition season and the heavy industry focus on efficient material logistics, how valuable are large physical trade shows for showcasing heavy-duty belt conveyors, bucket elevators, and complex fuel handling systems directly to power, steel, and infrastructure developers?

Rollcon Technofab: Physical trade shows offer an invaluable platform to showcase our bulk material handling systems directly to plant heads, engineering consultants, and heavy industry leaders. When project directors step up to our booth, they want to inspect the structural integrity of our idlers and pulleys, evaluate our modular conveyor designs, and discuss custom routing layouts firsthand. Face-to-face interaction establishes a level of technical confidence and operational reliability that digital brochures simply cannot match.

When speaking with thermal power plant managers, steel plant operators, and industrial contractors on the ground, what were the most persistent operational hurdles, material spillage bottlenecks, or wear-and-tear challenges they brought up regarding continuous bulk conveying?

Rollcon Technofab: The most frequent challenge our team hears about is premature belt wear, material spillage at transfer points, and unexpected downtime during peak continuous-duty cycles when moving coal, biomass, or aggregate materials. Plant operators are constantly worried about maintenance bottlenecks that can halt an entire production line. They need rugged, high-performance conveying infrastructure engineered to handle abrasive materials reliably under grueling 24/7 industrial conditions.

With India's rapid industrial expansion, massive power generation demands, and strict efficiency mandates pushing for automated logistics, how have customer expectations shifted over recent years, particularly regarding the move toward high-capacity conveying, energy-efficient drives, and minimal manual intervention?

Rollcon Technofab: Customer expectations have shifted profoundly toward complete process automation, high energy efficiency, and low lifecycle maintenance. Gone are the days when basic, high-maintenance belt systems were considered sufficient for heavy industrial plants. Today, plant managers and project engineers demand advanced travelling tripper conveyors, steep-angle conveying solutions, and intelligent monitoring systems that streamline fuel and material movement while drastically cutting operational overhead and labor dependency.

Beyond conventional mechanical conveying, advanced pneumatic dense phase systems, automated coal quality management integration, and heavy-duty structural engineering are vital for modern plants. How is Rollcon Technofab integrating advanced design innovation and rigorous fabrication standards to help operators maximize throughput efficiency?

Rollcon Technofab: We focus heavily on advanced bulk material engineering, utilizing precision-crafted components, robust idlers and pulleys, and specialized systems like our coal quality management integrations. Backed by our deep expertise in executing complex EPC projects across power, mining, and ports, we handle everything from fuel bunker engineering to intricate ash handling networks. Our goal is to provide a seamless, reliable material-moving ecosystem that ensures our partners achieve maximum operational uptime and energy efficiency.

Looking toward the rest of the year following the excitement of the exhibition season, what new material handling series, specialized conveying configurations, or manufacturing capacity expansions is Rollcon Technofab most excited to roll out for the core infrastructure and industrial sectors?

Rollcon Technofab: For the remainder of the year, we are focused on expanding our advanced coal, ash, and biomass handling systems, alongside scaling up our engineering and fabrication capabilities. We are introducing enhanced modular conveyor options and upgraded energy-efficient drive solutions designed to help our clients meet surging production demands across domestic and international markets. Ultimately, our mission is to power industries forward by delivering world-class, reliable bulk material handling systems that our partners can depend on.
