Excon - Success doesn't just find you. You have to go out and get it.
How was your experience at Excon 2019 held at Bangalore?
We have been participating in Excon since 2009 and have progressed from indoor booth to the outdoor booth now. This year Excon we had a very good response. The turnout at our booth was excellent. The visitors were genuine and boosted our morale with their genuine enquiries. It was a pleasant experience to meet our old and new customers at single location and understand their requirements. We also came across some progressive looking vendors and service providers who gave us good inputs.
The experience was really good and we look forward to the next Excon.
How did you find the overall arrangements?
The overall arrangement was okay.
However we would like to voice some of our grievances.
* There must be some consideration given to the fact that parking lots are very far off which could be easily addressed. The parking lot should have been segmented like having provision for participants and their guest visitors having excess with a signage paste on the front glass of their vehicles.
Golf carts also should be deployed to take the participants and visitors to the checking gates from the parking lots.
There should be separate parking lots for rental cars and three-wheelers.
The most important thing to do is to decongest the traffic coming in and out especially during the peak hours.
* The second problem we faced was loud music / announcements from adjacent booths. There must be a rule that the sound should be kept to address customers in their respective booths and not constitute nuisance for adjoining booths
How was response for your product / services you displayed?
We displayed concrete pumps both trailer and boom pump along with our concrete batching plants.
The response was overwhelming. This also accentuates the need of new and quality players in the field of concrete pumps. The footfall was very good and all our representatives on the booth were busy attending customers in the evening way beyond the official timings of Excon were over.
Did you receive any spot sales?
Yes we did spot sell our products and were happy not to transport them back to our factory.
Further, the response was so good that we have bookings for plants and pumps for the next 2-3 month.
Would you participate next time taking bigger space?
Yes we will participate but cannot comment bigger space, basically because space availability is a problem esp. in the orange lot. Other lots are not attractive due to other reasons.
