Founded in 1966, Qingdao Hicorp Group has grown in size during its development of 50+ years. The company has been involving in engineering equipment, textile machinery, auto parts, and footwear equipment, becoming a modern enterprise group integrating sci-tech research, industrial production, and marketing & trade.

Hicorp Group has a National Center for Enterprise Technology and a national accredited laboratory. It has been awarded the honorary titles of key high-tech enterprises of the National Torch Program; national high-tech enterprises; national “contract-honoring and credit-respecting”  enterprise. It became a China Patent star enterprise in Shandong province, owning 187 national patents including 21 national invention patents, and won 52 ministry, provincial or municipal scientific and technological progress awards. 22 of our mechanical products were recognized as key new products by the nation.

 

  What avenues the company is trying to explore in India?

 

Infrastructure. In particular, metro tunnel construction, urban municipal construction, and precast concrete equipment for prefab building construction. We see large scale of infrastructure projects are underway in India, and our experience and expertise in the machinery industry will fit in.

     

How do you see the Indian market and emerging economy?

 

Like China, India is a big country, with massive land and a large population. Plus, India is the fastest growing economy among the emerging markets. We see Indian market full of potentials and possibilities. We are quite optimistic about the prospects of the Indian economy.

                

How would you see prospects for your product range in India? What is your superior strength? 

 

Indian government is weighing more value on the important role that infrastructure plays in economic development. So we see great opportunities for our products in Indian market. China and India are the two biggest developing countries in the world. Our products have been tested and proved successful in China market. With similar national economical conditions, we’re confident that our products will be the most cost-effective and most suitable ones for India compared to the competitors’.
